Main agenda follows the Indonesia AI Startups Compendium 2026 presentation by Partner of Kejora Capital Andreas Surya and its formal handover to Bali Tech Week Head of Committee Rama Mamuaya
Dear Subscriber,
Foundry Collective has proudly kicked off the AI-Native Company Builder session on Day 3 at Bali Tech Week (BTW) 2026, bringing founders, mentors, technology partners, and policymakers together to explore how AI is changing what solo founders can build.
Taking place at The Bali Beach Convention CenterMeru, Sanur, the morning event opens with remarks from Foundry Collective representative Andy Zain. The main agenda follows, the presentation of “Indonesia AI Startups Compendium 2026” by Andreas Surya, Partner of Kejora Capital, and a dedicated ceremony to formally hand over the compendium to Rama Mamuaya, the Bali Tech Week Head of Committee.
This remarkable event reflects the broader aim of BTW 2026, set under the theme “Archipelago Ascending: Advance Together, Innovate Further”, which aligns with Foundry Collective’s own mission of connecting Indonesia’s leading voices across technology, business, and policy.
“Indonesia has a strong foundation of entrepreneurial talent, and AI is opening new opportunities for local founders to turn ideas into impactful businesses. Through this compendium, we aim to connect emerging AI ventures with investors, corporate partners, and governments they need to grow. We want Indonesia to be a place where great AI companies are built, funded, and scaled,” said Andy Zain, Chairman of Foundry Collective.

Foundry also presents a series of sessions taking a deeper look into the AI Venture Builder program, including (1) a panel on “The-One Person Company”, (2) “Building Niceflow: Turning An Agency Problem into An AI Product”, and (3) a workshop on “How to Build a Customer Lifecycle Agent”, led by Alistair Johnston, Founder & Director of Altmore Partners; On Lee, CEO & CTO of GDP Labs; Leo Koesmanto, Founder of SaranBaik.id; Andreas Surya; Wawan Salum, Co-Founder of Batilabs; and Richard Fang, Founder of NiceFlow.app.

All sessions marked a key milestone in the public launch of Indonesia’s first AI Company Builder, in partnership withthe global AI-native accelerator Founder Institute (FI). The first cohort is set to kick off in the first quarter (Q1) 2027. The 10-week hybrid program targets 100 founders, and is supported by a curated network of more than 100 local mentors, including investors and experts. Applications open at the launch, with the final deadline of 8 December 2026.
The program pairs Founder Institute’s Silicon Valley proven curriculum where each participant will receive a tailored playbook designed with their individual needs and business goals, rather than follow a one-size-fits-all model.
It gives solo founders a new agentic AI approach to building and scaling tech companies, backed by an experienced network of industry practitioners, and supports Indonesia’s shift from AI consumer to AI-native builder.
This FI Jakarta program will be led by four Program Directors: Andy Zain and Andreas Surya of Kejora Capital, Founder of Altmore Partners Alistair Johnston, and Founder of Laku6 Alvin Yap.
