Who can apply to the Foundry Academy?
Foundry Academy is open to all entrepreneurs in Indonesia, particularly those engaged in technology or tech-enabled ventures, as we heavily rely on technology tools to drive progress. The program is designed primarily for tech entrepreneurs, but we welcome applicants from all industries.
What does the Foundry Academy program look like?
The Foundry Academy program starts on (to be confirm date) and runs for 12 weeks, structured as follows
First 5 Weeks: Intensive Training
- Week 1: Vision & Idea
- Week 2: People and Resources
- Week 3: Product & Offering
- Week 4: Traction & Go-to-Market
- Week 5: Revenue & Profit
- Every week, founders will undergo reviews of their assignments and peer evaluations. These assessments are conducted by our Foundry Academy team and partners from other VC investment teams, ensuring a rigorous evaluation process that helps participants consistently progress and meet program expectations.
- Additionally, there will be bonus sessions conducted within this timeframe to provide additional insights.
Week 6: Pitching Day
- During week 6, founders present their ideas to VCs and seasoned entrepreneurs. However, eligibility to pitch is reserved for those who have diligently completed all weekly assignments and passed peer reviews.
Week 7 – 11: Bootcamp
- Those who excel during Pitching Day will be selected to advance to the program’s next phase: a rigorous 5-week bootcamp.
- This phase provides founders with highly personalized and exclusive mentoring, offering one-on-one guidance to hone their startup’s development and ensuring a focused and in-depth mentorship experience.
- Every week, further assignments will be given and assessed, and elimination rounds will be conducted. Only those who perform exceptionally will advance each week, ultimately leading to their participation in the Demo Day.
Week 12: Demo Day
- The program culminates in Week 12 with Demo Day, the final event where participants showcase their startups to potential investors, key industry players, and other relevant stakeholders. This event provides a valuable platform for networking and investment opportunities.
Can I apply if I don't have a fully developed business plan or prototype?
Yes, you can still apply even if you’re in the early stages of your business. Foundry Academy is designed to help entrepreneurs at different stages of development, from idea stage to more advanced startups.
